This page explains what happens to information collected through this website.
What is collected
The web server keeps routine logs noting visiting IP addresses, the browser in use and which pages were opened. That record exists so faults can be traced and so the rough volume of visits each month is known. Nothing in it is assembled into a profile of any individual reader.
Write to the studio at the address given on the contact page and your note, along with the address it came from, stays on file only while a reply is outstanding and while any resulting correction to these pages is logged. No address is ever passed to a mailing list, offered for sale or handed to anyone else.
Cookies
Nothing here advertises to you or follows you between sites, so no cookie of that sort is written. Should you leave a comment, the blogging platform behind these pages may store one small file locally, doing nothing more than saving your details for next time on that device.
Third parties
There is no advertising network, no affiliate tracking and no social media pixel on this site.
Your rights
You may ask which details are held in your name and request their removal. The contact page lists where to send that request.
