Shipping rates are based on average size and weight shipped to the contiguous 48 United States. Large, oversized or heavy items may incur additional shipping charges.

Order Processing
Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday if ordered by 1pm CST. Most all items will be shipped within 2 days.  Some items may be shipped later, based on availability, particularly in 2020.  In this case we will communicate immediately with email and voice mail.

Expedited Shipping
We offer UPS 2nd Day and UPS Next Day shipping choices for your convenience. Orders received on normal business days (Monday-Friday), before 2pm CST (Central Standard Time) can ship the same day, excluding holidays. Next Day orders placed on Friday will be delivered the next business day, excluding holidays. The shipping charge displayed in the checkout process is a base price. We will communicate and confirm the final shipping charge via email and voicemail.

In Store Pick Up and Curbside
Click on the local pick up in the “cart”, and in the “checkout” under “Order Notes” enter which location (Overland Park or Westport) you will be picking up the order. If curbside, then just follow the same procedure and call us and we will deliver to your vehicle.

Local delivery
Particularly in 2020 we will deliver to any location in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.  Please follow the same process as In Store Pick Up. We will try to get your order to you as soon as we can based on your location.  Just give us a phone call and we can work out the details.

International Shipping
Creative-Coldsnow offers international shipping of art supplies to over 100 countries worldwide. We utilize the most cost effective rates with UPS and USPS. Please enter the country needed in the checkout shopping cart. When placing the order international shipping charges are a base charge.  We will communicate the final cost via email.  If your country is not listed in the shopping cart checkout, please send an email to [email protected].

Oversized and Overweight Items
These items will be shipped by UPS or Common Carrier Truck Shipping.  The cost will be determined by the carrier and calculated with the size of the package, weight of the package, and distance. The actual cost cannot be calculated or estimated until the order has been picked and packed.  Product descriptions should be marked as oversized and overweight.  Here are examples of overweight and  oversized items:

• Stretched Canvas 30×30, or larger
• Foamboard, and any Board Product exceeding 24×24
• Clay, Molding Materials, Plaster, other sculpture materials exceeding 70lbs
• Some Furniture and Easel products

Flammable Liquids, Combustible Liquids, and Aerosols
Are subject to shipping restrictions. Due to the required ground shipping of Class 3 items, shipping times may exceed our standard 2-6 day delivery estimate. Expedited shipping is not available for orders containing these items.  Examples of products include, solvents and  aerosol spray cans.

Shipments to California Customers, under Prop 65
Requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By requiring that this information be provided, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals. Some common art materials that contain these chemicals are solvents and solvent based products including paints, mediums and adhesives & heavy metal pigments.

Disclaimer
All customers are notified if any variances from these policies are necessary due to the nature of their order.  In these cases the customer must approve any changes before the order is processed.
