This Princeton Dakota Series, Synthetic Hog Bristle Flat, Size 8, has bristles that are medium in length when compared to the shorter-length chisel blenders, or longer stroke brushes. This brush can be used on the flat side to fill in large areas of color, or on the flat edge to create thin lines.

ABOUT THE SERIES

Princeton’s Dakota Series has a better, longer lasting bristle brush that performs better than natural bristle across a broad range of media. Modeled on the look and feel of hog bristle, these brushes are perfect for painters switching from oils to acrylic or water-soluble oil. They work well even in heavy bodied acrylics and are also suitable for use with gels and impasto media. Oil painters are catching on to the 6300 series, realizing that it wears much better than natural bristle.
